When the defender pops, make sure you have a dk and a pally combo grip/stun him at around 5-7%.Put a shaman with tremor in the tank group as back up to potentially get them out right away with a lucky timing on a tremor pulse.If you cast the first fear ward (before the fight) early enough, you'll have it again during the fight for the 3rd fear. There are at least 2 depending on your dps. Re-apply another fear ward after the first fear.Disc priests can cast 2-3 mass dispels (.5s cast) and get everyone out of fear before they get in range of the cats being tanked away. If you have at least 2 priests (one being disc) fear ward your disc priest before the fight starts.2 and 2 is the safest amount to tank together to ensure no one dies. When there are +3 cats together then they deal fatal damage. As long as all 4 cats aren't next to each other you will be fine. Healers can reach the tanks without getting pounced (max range is 30 yards). 2 tanks can tank 2 adds apart from each other and away from the raid. The strat to do the achievement usually consists of 3 tanks and 4-5 healers. These adds pounce within 10-30 yards which is an automatic 1 shot usually on tanks too if all of the adds are next to each other.The adds get a stacking buff when they are next to each other.So there are a few things you need to understand with this fight. If 3 decide to pounce at the same time then someone can still die (or multiple people) since they are that close and likely to pounce on someone within that range. ![]() The issue with this is that 6 yards is not enough distance for them to stop pouncing. Major take away is have ach cat 6 yards away from the boss, that way they don't get the damage buff that causes them to melt the tanks, and they still get close enough to not leap and 1 shot someone in the raid. You can be safe and have 2 add tanks tanking away from each other and the other tank, but it leaves you with less room for error when the fear goes out since dps are more likely to be in range of the pounce So you tank 2 adds away from the raid entirely and then do the fight like normal. But 2 stacks of the buff is not a one shot even on dps. The big thing is that the damage buff is multiplicative. The major point of this is that all the cats are AT LEAST 6yards AWAY FROM EACHOTHER, otherwise they get a crazy damage buff to eachother. 4 OTs (can do 3 and have MT grab 1 cat as well) grab a cat each, and form a square around Auriaya. ![]()
